ABFF PLAY is a streaming platform and virtual theater that offers a variety of free content highlighting Black culture and creativity across genres. Users can delve into exclusive material from the American Black Film Festival events, award-winning short films, original web series (both scripted and unscripted), and podcasts.
ABFF Cinemas, the virtual theater section, features monthly first-run feature films and live pay-per-view events, including stand-up comedy specials, stage plays, unplugged performances, and festivals - inviting viewers to create a cinematic experience at home alongside some popcorn.
Before its official launch in November 2020, ABFF PLAY will provide a preview to the public with online editions of the American Black Film Festival (August 21-30) and the Social Justice Now Film Festival (October 14-18).

To watch ABFF PLAY content, users can stream directly through their web browser on abffplay.com. The platform allows for the creation and management of personalized watchlists for seamless navigation through new releases or favorite selections.
New films and programs are introduced each month. Users can acquire a free virtual pass to access all features and content on the platform.
